    Project Name: Bobcat Bluff Repower Wind Project

    Project Location: 6969 FM 2581, Windthorst, TX 76389

     

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVE(S) OF POSITION
    Responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of crew engaged in marking, positioning, and securing structural steel members to reinforce concrete or building structures, as well as ensuring quality and safety on each task.

    Responsibilities

    KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
    A. Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
    B. Establish and adjust work sequences to meet schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel
    C. Involved in schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job
    D. Analyze and resolve work problems
    E. Ensure crew timecards are filled out and turned in
    F. May make cost estimates for contracts
    G. Proven ability to recognize and value differences amongst team members
    H. Ability to build strong cross-cultural relationships
    I. Demonstrated resource for valuing and promoting diversity
    J. Ability to determine work method from alternative
    K. Ornamental Ironworking Foreman
         1. Planning installation procedures
         2. Inspecting preparation and installation of ironwork to ensure adherence to specifications
    L. All other duties as assigned
    M. Renewable Energy Group Accountabilities:
         1. Receiving and offloading all major components
         2. Installing loose components for Nacelle, hub, and tower preparation
         3. Connecting blades to hub
         4. Setting base and tower sections
         5. Managing taglines
         6. Involved with main erection crane assembly and teardown
         7. Climbing ladders – average 80m

    A. Lead team members by example in
         1. Resourcefulness
         2. Self-starting work habits
         3. Problem solving based on information and sound judgment
    B. Provide work direction and oversight to Ironworker Apprentice and Helpers
