  • Overview

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVE(S) OF POSITION

    Plan, organize and direct foreman and craft team members based on the project schedule and state and federal requirements.

    High quality, professional work product performed with initiative, productivity, a positive attitude and behavior. Performance should meet or exceed the established standards, goals, and accountabilities of the position.

    Responsibilities

     

    KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

    1. Accountabilities
    2. Reading blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
    3. Supervise and coordinate activities of foreman and their assigned craft workers
    4. Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders
    5. Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations
    6. Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge capacities of equipment and assigned personnel
    7. Study/analyze in schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job
    8. Analyze and resolve work problems
    9. Maintain time records
    10. May make cost estimate for contracts
    11. Use logical step-by-step procedures in work
    12. Plan work and solve problems
    13. Make decisions based on measurable information
    14. May operate machinery

     

    1. All other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    1. High school diploma or GED
    2. A minimum of five years of related experience

    1.  Previous employees preferred

    2. Current driver’s license preferred but not required
    3. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
